I was cleaning out files from our old computer and found the following, which Kylene wrote for a school assignment almost a decade ago to the day I found it. It seemed appropriate to post it as this year's Halloween page.

My New Class

My new class and I are on a picnic. Miss Davis is the Queen, chasing me around the table, because I stole her magical cookie behind her back. Tathiane takes the magical cookie from me and gives it to Donte, just when he is about to take a bite of it, I turn into a very beautiful princess. Monica, Donte, Larry and Tathiane become servants. Mrs. Yachechko comes and visits Queen Miss Davis and I, Princess Kylene at our castle. We are having a feast and the Queen, my mom, and I choose chicken as the main course. Also, we have for the rest of our meal a baked potato with gravy on top.

After, the meal we talk and eat dessert. The dessert is chocolate fudge brownies. They are good, warm and crispy and fun to eat. Then, we go to sleep and have pleasant dreams!
